⚙️ Performance Meets Precision

Beneath the hood, the 2022 Mustang GT Fastback Premium delivers raw American muscle through a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine, pushing 450 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. With responsive handling, aggressive throttle mapping, and a refined 10-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission, this isn’t just a car—it’s a statement.

But this build doesn’t stop at factory power.

• Corsa Performance Cold Air Intake adds a sharper throttle response and a throaty induction sound that makes each pull more exhilarating.

• Mishimoto Coolant Reservoir ensures cooling efficiency and under-hood durability while adding a clean, high-performance visual to the engine bay.

Together, these upgrades blend track-ready performance with daily-driver reliability.

Board of Directors

I became involved in mustangs by accident. When I was about 20 years old, I saw a car in a parking lot with a for sale sign on it. I didn't know about cars at the time let alone did I know the car for sale was a mustang. I liked the body style so I bought my first car a 71' mustang coupe. After a few years of ownership, I wrecked my mustang. A few years later I bought a 70' Mach 1. I had this car for a short time before I had to sell it for reasons beyond my control. It would be another 25 years before I bought my next mustang which is the one you see here...

Chris - President of High Desert Mustang Club

I am excited about being vice president of the High Desert Mustang club. My wife Cathie and I purchased our 2016 competition orange Mustang EcoBoost premium in 2017 , we looked for an orange one but could not find one( Denver Broncos Fans). Cathie found one online in Oklahoma , I asked how many miles? She replied 77! Wow! my lucky number and my favorite Denver Broncos players! Currently I am a Ford diesel specialist and a retired mechanic. I am an automotive instructor at a community college. I enjoy helping others and enjoy being a part of this Mustang...

Carlos - Vice President High Desert Mustang Club

Danny and I were passionate about motorcycles, owning our favorite rides. Everything changed in 2021 when Danny was diagnosed with cancer. After his second hospital stay, he declared, “I never want to be in the hospital again.” Understanding the gravity of his words, I suggested we sell our beloved bikes. Danny's pride was a stunning 2015 Roadmaster, while I rode a sleek 2016 Scout. We decided to sell with a few friends. Months later, we received an exciting call: my new Rapid Red Mustang had arrived! I brought her home and started with a wrap and ceramic...

Dru - Secretary

I’m excited to serve as the treasurer for the High Desert Mustang Club this year. I’ve been passionate about cars for as long as I can remember, and I’m really looking forward to helping support our club and keep things running smoothly from a financial perspective. A little about me outside of the club, I served in the Army National Guard as a mechanic for 6 years and law enforcement for 10 years. I’m here to make sure our finances stay transparent, organized, and secure, so if anyone has questions about membership fees, transactions or anything else feel...

Antonio- Treasurer

I have always loved fast cars, but I confess... the Mustang was not my original favorite. Then about 20 years ago, I saw this 1969 Mustang Grande that was parked in the lot where I work. To my great fortune, I got to know the owner and he actually let me drive it as fast as I wanted. I ended up marrying the owner and together Norm and I returned it to its original glory. Norm couldn't wait to drive it and show off this beauty. We wanted to join a Mustang club so we could participate in events and shows with other Mustang owners. We are very excited to help...

Founder/President

Hello. My name is Chris. First, I want to thank you for visiting our club website. We are a new Mustang Car Club formed in 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I hope you enjoy what you see and consider joining our club. My vision for High Desert Mustang Club is simple, everyone has a voice, and we treat each other like family. My goal was to create a mustang club that allowed all members to express their opinions and collaborate to make the club the best it can be. I wanted a mustang club that people not only enjoy but are proud to be members of. When joining a car club, the goal is to have fun and share experiences with one another. Whether it’s hanging out at car club events or with other club members on a personal level, our club offers members the opportunity to create those family-like bonds. By participating in club activities, members get to know one another, which then adds to the value of the car club. As part of my mission, I wanted to also create a mustang club that would participate in providing support to the community, other car clubs and charitable organizations around New Mexico. It takes a team to make all this happen and I believe you’ll find that with the High Desert Mustang Club!

In Loving Memory of Kim Snoeberger

we honor the memory of Kim Snoeberger, who, alongside her beloved husband Gary, was a founding member of the High Desert Mustang Club. Kim’s passion for Mustangs was only matched by her love for community, friendship, and family. Her warm spirit, tireless dedication, and joyful presence helped shape the heart of our club from the very beginning.

Kim was more than just an enthusiast — she was a cornerstone of the High Desert Mustang Club. Whether at car shows, club events, or community events, her smile and kindness touched everyone she met. Her legacy of unity, respect, and love for the Mustang family will forever be a part of who we are.

In her honor, special winners at HDMC car shows will have the chance to receive the Kim’s Choice Award — a heartfelt recognition that reflects Kim’s unique eye for character, passion, and the spirit of the Mustang community.

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her memory will continue to ride with us in every mile.
